Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (California credential preferred)
• Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of current best practices in mental health, behavior intervention, and special education
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Prior experience in K-12 school settings highly desirable
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior plans
• Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students
• Participate in student support teams and multidisciplinary meetings
• Facilitate crisis interventions and provide recommendations for effective classroom strategies
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to student services
