Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students based on referrals from teachers and school administrators.
- Screen students for disabilities and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) by collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Interview students and observe behavior within the school environment to gather comprehensive educational, social, and medical histories.
- Administer and score a range of psychological and neuropsychological tests, ensuring timely and accurate data reporting.
- Compile and submit detailed reports for inclusion in students official school records, including legal evaluation reports when required.
- Identify and communicate any issues related to test validity, timing, or completion challenges promptly to supervisors.
- Assist with research activities by collecting and analyzing psychometric data according to established protocols.
- Support school personnel in completing evaluations and assessments necessary for determining student eligibility for services.
- Certification as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist with experience in K-12 educational environments.
