Key Qualifications:
- Active and current North Carolina Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Certification from NBCOT
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and recommend accommodations or interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student achievement
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of services, assessments, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Travel between sites as needed to support multiple students/needs
- Stay current with best practices and professional development
