Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina
- Prior experience in school settings or pediatric therapy preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt intervention plans based on individual needs
- Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) during the ESY program
- Assess student needs, set goals, and monitor progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support
- Provide direct and consultative therapy sessions as indicated by student needs
- Document treatment services and maintain records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Support students in developing motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for daily participation in school activities
