School Behavior Specialist in Middleburg, FL

A full-time Behavioral Specialist with BCBA certification is sought to support students in K-12 self-contained programs in the Jacksonville, FL area. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 28, 2026, providing services on-site only.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers across 5-7 schools to improve behavioral outcomes
• Conduct observations and assist with data collection
• Develop functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
• Model intervention strategies and offer ongoing support to staff
• Provide recommendations without delivering direct one-on-one services to students
  
  

Qualifications

• Active BCBA licensure required
• Experience with behavior support in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Ability to manage a caseload of multiple schools as an itinerant specialist
  
  

Location and Hours:

• Middleburg/Jacksonville, FL area
• Full-time, 35 hours per week
• On-site work; this position is not open to virtual work or VOCO
