A dedicated Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials is needed to support a high school program focused on students with emotional disabilities in Frederick, MD. This contractual role offers the opportunity to provide critical behavioral interventions and collaborate with educational staff in a dynamic school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans for students within the Pyramid program.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes.
- Participate in scheduled staff meetings and planning sessions held after school.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
- Maryland BCBA License required.
- Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities in school settings.
- Strong skills in behavioral assessment, intervention techniques, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Frederick, MD.
- Work hours: Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM.
- Mandatory after-school meetings until 3:45 PM every Tuesday and every other Thursday.
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 16, 2026.
