School Behavior Specialist in Frederick, MD

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated Behavior Specialist with BCBA credentials is needed to support a high school program focused on students with emotional disabilities in Frederick, MD. This contractual role offers the opportunity to provide critical behavioral interventions and collaborate with educational staff in a dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans for students within the Pyramid program.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes.
• Participate in scheduled staff meetings and planning sessions held after school.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Maryland BCBA License required.
• Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities in school settings.
• Strong skills in behavioral assessment, intervention techniques, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Frederick, MD.
• Work hours: Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM.
• Mandatory after-school meetings until 3:45 PM every Tuesday and every other Thursday.
• Contract duration: Immediate start through June 16, 2026.
