School Based Speech Language Pathologist

A school district in Park Ridge, Illinois is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a self-contained special education program. This full-time position provides the opportunity to work with students ranging in age from 3 to 22 years while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote student independence and success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

Caseload

• Self-contained special education program
• Approximately 18-25 students
• Ages 3-22

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
