The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality services and maintaining continuity of care throughout the leave period.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning
- Support the districts mission to provide inclusive and equitable educational services
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in the state of practice (or ability to obtain one)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered depending on district needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- School-based experience is a plus but not required
