School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Leonardtown, Maryland

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a meaningful impact with an infant and toddler caseload. This position is based at a district office near Leonardtown, MD, offering the chance to support young learners during a critical stage of development. The assignment is set to start as soon as possible and runs through July 1, 2027, allowing for a long-term professional commitment in an educational setting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Maryland SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience providing speech therapy services in schools, particularly with infants and toddlers, is highly valued
• Demonstrated skill in developing treatment plans and coordinating with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting early developmental milestones
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and create intervention strategies for infants and toddlers with communication delays or disorders
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services as part of an early intervention team
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and staff to promote language acquisition and functional communication
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to school-based meetings and individualized service plans when needed
