School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - West Hartford, CT

Ideal candidates bring prior school-based SLPA experience, a current Connecticut SLPA license, and are ready to complete district fingerprinting and background checks. Upfront licensure is highly valued. A single placement in one building ensures you can focus on building strong rapport with students and staff alike. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom, prioritizing credentialed professionals.

Key responsibilities:
• Deliver direct speech and language support services under the supervision of a certified SLP
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and special education teams
• Assist in developing and implementing IEP goals
• Prepare materials and document student progress in compliance with school and state regulations
• Work with diverse student populations in an elementary school environment
• Maintain accurate records and conduct ongoing data collection

Preferred qualifications:
• Active Connecticut SLPA license
• Documented school-based SLPA experience
