Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school-based team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and is comfortable working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This role provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational and social development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising SLP
• Collect and document data on student progress
• Assist with screenings and assessments as directed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
  
  

Qualifications

• Active SLPA certification or license as required by the state
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while following SLP guidance
