Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising SLP
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Assist with screenings and assessments as directed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions
- Active SLPA certification or license as required by the state
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while following SLP guidance
