School-Based SLP | Mckinney, Texas

A K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in McKinney, TX, supporting elementary students within a dynamic school setting. This contract role runs through the current school year and offers a balance of onsite and remote work, providing a structured yet flexible environment for delivering essential speech and language services.

Location:McKinney, TX Elementary School Setting

Duration:Contract assignment through 5/22/2025

Schedule:40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

Work Arrangement:Onsite four days per week with one allowed work-from-home day

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and therapy to K-12 students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license required (no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants or Clinical Fellows accepted).
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
