Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering individualized nursing care to one preschool student during school hours
- Closely monitoring the student’s health status and responding proactively to changing needs
- Following prescribed care plans, administering necessary medications and interventions
- Building positive, collaborative relationships with teachers, staff, and family members
- Maintaining timely and thorough records of health services, observations, and updates
- Promoting a safe, nurturing classroom environment that enables learning
Desired qualifications:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Prior 1:1 care experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the flexibility to thrive in a preschool setting
