Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric therapy, highly preferred
- Ability to adapt treatment strategies to school environments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized student therapy plans
- Effective communication with students, staff, and families
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of students in compliance with their IEPs and district requirements
- Provide therapy sessions and consultative support at two school campuses in the Santa Fe and Albuquerque area
- Collaborate with educators, other therapists, and caregivers to promote student engagement and progress
- Complete comprehensive documentation, progress reports, and paperwork as part of your weekly hours (averaging 20-25 hours per week)
- Attend relevant IEP meetings, student reviews, and interdisciplinary planning sessions as required
