Retail Pharmacist - Part Time - Mount Sinai, NY

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to provide ongoing coverage at a retail pharmacy in Mount Sinai, NY. This role offers a flexible schedule with 2 shifts per week.

Details:

• Location: Mount Sinai, NY (local candidates only Suffolk County preferred)

• Schedule: 2 days per week (preferred: Tuesday and Wednesday)

• Start: October 14th and 15th, ongoing coverage

• Pharmacy Hours:

  • MondayFriday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM 3:00 PM

  • Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and pliance

• Provide patient counseling and ensure safe medication use

• Support daily retail pharmacy operations

• Utilize Datascan software (experience preferred, training provided)

• Maintain pliance with pharmacy regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Active, clear New York State Pharmacist License (required)

• Previous retail pharmacy experience (required)

• Familiarity with Datascan (preferred)

• Must successfully pass background and drug screening

• Local candidates only; muting distance to Suffolk County strongly preferred
