A position is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy operating under a contracting opportunity in Carson City, NV. This role requires a pharmacist with strong retail experience who can confidently manage high volumes and effectively support pharmacy operations amid ongoing staffing changes.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide immunization services; certification is required
• Counsel patients on medication usage, interactions, and side effects
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Utilize pharmacy software, with training provided on ERx systems
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Current and clear Nevada pharmacist license
• Proven retail pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
• Immunization certification mandatory
• Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic and transitional work environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
  

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  
  

Additional Details

• This position spans 13 weeks, with options for contract to hire
• Daily mileage reimbursement available for those commuting from nearby locations
• Training provided for ERx pharmacy management software
