Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) in Glenwood Springs, CO

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Tele RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Telemetry and Med Surg settings
• Proven ability to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficient in electronic health records and documentation
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and promptly respond to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and families to coordinate and optimize patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery strategies, and health maintenance
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers to maintain efficient workflow
