- Active New Jersey RN license (Registered Nurse) or CSN (Certificate in School Nursing)
- Strong preference for candidates with prior experience as a school nurse
- Familiarity with Genesis charting system is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adept at managing student health records, administering medications, and responding to medical emergencies
- Compassionate, adaptable, and comfortable working with elementary-aged children
- Provide direct nursing care to students in the school health room
- Document and maintain student health records using the Genesis system
- Administer first aid, medications, and care for acute illnesses or injuries
- Collaborate with staff and families to support student health and wellness
- Promote healthy practices and participate in school-wide health initiatives
- Monitor students with ongoing medical needs and develop health care plans as needed
