Registered Nurse - PICU (RN) - Olathe, KS

Desired Qualifications And Experience

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Proven commitment to patient safety, infection control, and compassionate care
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care for critically ill pediatric and progressive care patients
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient status accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health staff to implement effective patient care plans
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency situations
• Educate patients and families about care procedures, progress, and home care needs
• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with hospital and legal regulations
