Registered Nurse - PACU (RN) - Livingston, MT

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years PACU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) environment as a Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a critical difference in patients’ post-operative recovery alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent PACU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
• Proficiency with electronic medical records preferred
  
  

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and level of consciousness post-surgery
• Manage pain control, administer medications, and assess patient recovery from anesthesia
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
• Educate patients and family members on post-operative care, discharge plans, and recovery processes
• Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia providers for coordinated patient care
• Document accurate and timely nursing records according to facility protocols
