Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments safely and according to established protocols
- Monitor patient responses and manage side effects during and after infusion therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication administration, and symptom management
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Current RN licensure with Medical-Surgical Oncology experience
- Previous infusion therapy or chemotherapy nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of oncology nursing standards of care and safety precautions
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
