Registered Nurse IR - Arvada, CO

This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse to work a contract assignment in Arvada, Colorado, with access to premier mountain recreation during the winter months. The position supports a busy IR unit within a well-equipped healthcare setting featuring SIEMENS IR technology and EMR proficiency with Meditech.

Responsibilities include delivering expert nursing care during complex procedures such as Y-90 treatments, vascular interventions, biliary procedures, and biopsies. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety and quality outcomes while collaborating with a professional team of technologists and healthcare staff.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Active RN license with IR nursing experience
• VI (Vascular Interventional) Certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in an IR setting preferred
• Proficient with Siemens equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Skilled in procedures including Y-90, lines, complex biliary, biopsies, and vascular interventions
• Strong accountability, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
  
  

Schedule And Assignment Details

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, typically 4 days on a 10-hour schedule
• Night shift coverage required one weekday and one weekend call per month
• One day off weekly plus most weekends off to enjoy Colorados mountain lifestyle
