Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Montgomery, Alabama

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications

• Valid ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of strong radiology experience (or 2 years for first-time travelers)
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and surgical radiology procedures
• Demonstrated experience in portable, trauma, and diagnostic x-ray
• O-arm and DEXA experience preferred but not required
  
  

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday (6:30pm–7:00am)
• Full-time hours (36 per week)
• Orientation includes one 8-hour hospital session and 2–3 dayshifts with a mentor
• Holiday coverage as per hospital policy (includes one major and one minor holiday)
• Voluntary on-call opportunities
• Floating within various areas of the main radiology department
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient radiographic imaging, primarily for adults, with occasional pediatric exams
• Operate GE, Siemens, and Carestream imaging equipment as well as Cerner EMR
• Provide imaging support for fluoroscopic, surgical, and trauma cases
• Float across different radiology units as needed to support department volume
• Maintain exceptional patient care standards and follow safety protocols throughout all imaging procedures
