Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Valid state licensure in radiologic technology
- Proven experience as a Radiology Tech and X-ray Technologist in a healthcare facility
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and infection control standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate diagnostic x-ray and radiologic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to patient privacy and safety regulations
- Prepare and position patients for radiographic examinations, explaining procedures and providing support as needed
- Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient records in electronic health systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes
