Schedule/Hours
- Contract position (specific shift details provided during interview process)
- Current RT(T) certification through ARRT required
- Valid Connecticut State Radiographer License
- Minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Solid understanding of simulation procedures and immobilization techniques
- Proficiency operating Varian linear accelerators with on-board imaging
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience in the field
- Preferred: Experience with Varian equipment, Varian Aria platform, and Align RT surface motion management technology
- Administer accurate radiation treatments according to physician’s orders and established protocols
- Perform and assist in simulation procedures, accurately positioning and immobilizing patients
- Operate advanced linear accelerator systems with imaging capabilities
- Monitor patient responses and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the treatment process
- Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold strict confidentiality standards
- Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, Physicists, and fellow clinicians
- Gain exposure to advanced oncology technologies and best practices
