PRN Radiation Therapist West Virginia
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for PRN (as-needed) coverage at a facility in West Virginia. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam and be proficient in a variety of treatment techniques including 2D, 3D, DIBH, IMRT, and SBRT.
Job Summary:
Perform radiation therapy treatments for patients of all agesfrom pediatric to geriatricin strict accordance with radiation oncologist prescriptions and protocols.
Certification Requirements:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification Required
Active West Virginia Radiation Therapist License Required
Department & Equipment:
1 Varian TrueBeam treatment machine
1 Siemens CT Simulator
Uses ARIA, PACS, and Meditech systems for EMR and imaging
mon procedures include radiation therapy, simulations, and block placements
Average treatments per day: 17-20
Work Details:
No floating or coverage of other departments required
No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements
Shifts scheduled by Lead Therapist (no self-scheduling)
Scrub color: Black (not provided)
Department-specific orientation provided

Lead Therapist: Erin Jackson
In-house Radiologist available
No RRA assistance
IV starts handled by RN, not required for this role
