Key Responsibilities

• Prepare both sterile and non-sterile compounded medications following strict safety and accuracy standards.
• Restock Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) to ensure efficient medication availability.
• Field incoming calls to the pharmacy, assisting with various inquiries and coordination.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems effectively to manage pharmacy workflows.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current California Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Proficiency with IV preparation and sterile compounding techniques.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
