Pharmacy Technician - Minneapolis, MN

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician role based in Minneapolis, MN, on a 13-week contract-to-hire basis. The position requires flexibility to work shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, including rotating weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous medications.
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data accurately into the system for prescription processing and reimbursement.
• Prepackage medications following established standards and government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist with the final review and packaging of prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
• Support Pharmacy Management with inventory tasks, including receiving, rotating stock, and maintaining records of lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and properly calibrated work environment by conducting equipment checks.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Current Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license must be in hand.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is desirable but not required, as training will be provided.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
