Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role supports a community pharmacy adjacent to a local hospital, focusing on dispensing prescriptions, providing immunizations, managing medications, and preparing discharge medications for patients at bedside.

Key responsibilities include assisting pharmacists with prescription dispensing, managing medication inventories, offering patient support, and utilizing the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and patient record management. The schedule includes day shifts with rotating weekends, requiring adaptability and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred (e.g., Rite Aid, Walgreens)
• Proficiency with EPIC Willow Ambulatory system required
• Sterile compounding experience is a plus
• Completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course is favorable
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
