Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a specialty pharmacy in San Diego, CA. This contract role offers a chance to work in a specialized pharmacy setting with responsibilities centered around prescription fulfillment and medication authorization processing.

Work Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Some weekend hours required

• Duration: 13 weeks or longer, with potential for temp-to-hire conversion

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and prepare prescriptions in compliance with pharmacy protocols
• Process medication authorizations efficiently to ensure timely patient access
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to support patient care
• Maintain documentation and adherence to regulatory standards
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician certification/license
• Experience working in a specialty pharmacy environment preferred
• Proven ability to process medication authorizations accurately and promptly
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
