An urgent opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a busy long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder (IDD) pharmacy site in Hartford, CT. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill prescriptions, ensuring medications are prepared according to specifications.
- Perform blister packing and labeling of medications to meet patient needs.
- Work efficiently within the pharmacy’s Frameworks system to manage high volume.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to maintain quality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Connecticut Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory.
- Previous experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacies preferred; retail pharmacy technicians with high-volume experience will also be considered.
- Ability to handle a fast workflow and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Familiarity with pharmacy compounding and packaging best practices.
Schedule:
- 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM shifts.
- Candidates must be flexible to start as early as 8 AM or work as late as 6 PM.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 4 weeks.
