Pharmacy Technician in Chesterfield, MO

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician position is available at a small hospital in the St. Louis suburbs, offering an opportunity to contribute your skills in a healthcare environment. This contract role has an expected duration of approximately eight weeks, beginning as soon as possible.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  
  

Responsibilities Include

• Performing sterile compounding to prepare medications safely and accurately
• Restocking Omnicell automated medication dispensing cabinets to ensure availability
• Handling incoming calls to the pharmacy and providing timely responses
• Assisting pharmacists and other staff with day-to-day pharmacy operations
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Valid Missouri Pharmacy Technician License
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred to navigate the healthcare setting efficiently
