Pharmacy Tech | Petaluma, California

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pharmacy Technician ready to apply their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role is based in Petaluma, CA, with a contract duration of approximately 13 weeks. Candidates will be engaged primarily in supporting pharmacy operations through a hands-on approach to order verification, supervision of technicians, and collaboration with clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily tasks
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage medication dispensing and inventory
• Engage in pharmacokinetic assessments and consultation with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis technology preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, with payment based on a 5-day, 8-hour schedule (32 hours regular time plus 8 hours overtime)
