Pharmacy Tech - Arlington, Texas

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support an AIDS/HIV specialty pharmacy in Arlington, TX. • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties, including data entry and dispensing medications.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered service with sensitivity to the needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems, primarily QS1, to ensure accurate medication processing.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Minimum of 1 year working in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Prior experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is required.
• Strong patient communication skills with a respectful, non-judgmental approach.
• TX Pharmacy Technician license required; PTCB certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with QS1 software highly preferred.
• Spanish language skills are highly advantageous.
