Pharmacist - Red Bluff, CA

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy experiencing significant growth in prescription volume. The role offers a chance to work full-time in a dynamic environment with a potential transition into a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position over time. This contract to hire position is based in Red Bluff, CA, with a travel assignment component.

• Red Bluff, CA (with duties supporting Redding, CA retail pharmacy)

• MondayFriday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Closed Sundays
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfill and transfer prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient consultations and medication counseling to ensure proper medication use
• Support hospital discharge medication processes
• Manage over-the-counter (OTC) medication access, including special orders
• Coordinate home delivery services
• Administer immunizations as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy settings is essential
• Strong communication skills for patient interactions
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high-volume workflow
