Responsibilities Include
- Serving as the working Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), managing pharmacy functions and staff
- Dispensing and verifying medications accurately to support patient care
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to optimize medication therapy
- Participating in on-call rotation shared with PRN pharmacists
- Ensuring all activities conform to legal, safety, and hospital policies
- Active California pharmacist license
- Proven hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong leadership skills and willingness to accept PIC responsibilities
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts, with on-call duties after hours
- Position is based in Davis, CA, with the facility located near Sacramento.
- Monday to Friday daytime hours
- After-hours on-call shared with additional pharmacists
