A PRN pharmacist position is available at a compounding pharmacy located in Doral, FL. This opportunity supports a growing pharmacy affiliated with a national telehealth company, focusing on GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy, and female hormone medications, with plans to expand into testosterone treatments. The pharmacy operates a small on-site team complemented by remote operational and clinical support, specializing in non-sterile compounding, with a sterile compounding launch imminent.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Specific PRN coverage needed on:
- Monday, November 2nd
- Tuesday, November 3rd
- Monday, November 9th
- Monday, November 16th
Responsibilities:
- Provide regulatory oversight, ensuring full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
- Support workflows during the launch of sterile compounding services
- Review and help update policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy Operations starting February 9
- Offer pharmacist coverage as needed during operational hours
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Pharmacist License required
- Experience with compounding pharmacy operations, either sterile or non-sterile, preferred
- Background in retail pharmacy also acceptable
- Experience with pharmacy start-ups is a plus
- Willingness to train on compounding if necessary
