Responsibilities
- Accurately assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for inpatient use
- Ensure timely and professional delivery of medications to nursing units and care teams
- Support inventory control efforts, including restocking and maintaining automated dispensing units
- Prepare sterile IV medications if appropriately trained and certified
- Comply with hospital policies and procedures, including safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Be a reliable team player who can step in when needed to support overall pharmacy workflow
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required
- National certification (CPhT) required
- Prior inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
- IV preparation training/certification highly valued
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting
- Professional demeanor and effective communication skills
- Must be local to the area and available for consistent weekly shifts
