Pediatric Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - New York

An opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in telepractice is available to support elementary-level students. This fully virtual contract opportunity is designed to provide comprehensive speech therapy services within an elementary school setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 4 hours of direct speech therapy sessions weekly, scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 9:30 am, and Monday through Thursday from 2:00 to 2:30 pm
• Provide 2 hours of indirect services weekly, including IEP case management, progress monitoring, Medicaid documentation, and maintaining related service logs
• Manage a caseload of students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade
• Utilize telepractice technologies to effectively conduct sessions and collaborate with educational teams
• Maintain compliance with school district standards and state regulations for speech therapy services
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings
• Proficiency in telepractice service delivery for speech therapy
• Familiarity with IEP development, Medicaid billing procedures, and educational documentation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining accurate records
