Key Responsibilities
- Conduct new child find evaluations for children ages 3-5 to identify speech and language needs.
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students within Early Childhood Special Education, ASD, and K-2 cross-categorical classrooms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation, assessment reports, and progress notes.
- Support the communication development of students with speech and language disorders, ensuring they meet their educational goals.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA or eligibility.
- Pediatric SLP experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Familiarity with Early Childhood Special Education and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms.
- Experience conducting child find evaluations and working with early childhood populations.
- Strong knowledge of teletherapy techniques is a plus but not required.
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP in Michigan.
