Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or healthcare environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education procedures is highly valued
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school procedures
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and families regarding student communication needs
- Participate in meetings, case conferences, and professional development as required
- Adapt therapy goals and approaches based on student progress and needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every student can thrive
