Key Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred for SLP candidates
- Experience working in healthcare and pediatric settings valued
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for new SLP graduates
- Experience or certification as an SLPA in school or healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for students
- Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal regulations related to speech-language services
- Provide consultation and training to educational staff as needed
