Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Illinois

This position offers a part-time role (2-3 days per week) with a flexible schedule, working within a school setting in Aurora, IL. The focus will be on providing bilingual (Spanish) speech-language pathology services, particularly conducting bilingual speech evaluations for the district.

Key Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required
• Familiarity with teletherapy and clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience preferred
• Comfortable working with VOCO or similar voice documentation software
  
  

Responsibilities

• Conduct bilingual speech and language evaluations for students
• Provide speech therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document and report clinical findings using the VOCO system
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and team members, in both English and Spanish
