Seeking dedicated and experienced professionals skilled in both Operating Room Registered Nursing and Certified Surgical Technology for an exciting contract opportunity. Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- On call 2-3 days per week, including every other weekend
Qualifications:
- Current RN license or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) designation through NBSTSA
- High school diploma required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum two years of operating room experience, working as either circulating RN or certified scrub tech
- Ability to take on-call shifts as outlined
- Must live at least 100 miles away
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments for each case
- Uphold strict infection control and patient safety standards throughout procedures
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the medical record
- Monitor and communicate patient status, ensuring timely response to any changes
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide essential coverage
