Responsibilities Include
- Providing skilled nursing care during complex surgeries including robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
- Caring for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in managing a 26-bed operating room unit
- Using advanced equipment such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
- Documenting care accurately within the Epic EMR system
- Participating in one overnight trauma call per week on a rotating basis
- Being flexible with weekend coverage (1:4 schedule, 12-hour shifts)
- Minimum 3 years of Level 1 trauma experience as an OR RN
- Competency with robotic surgical systems and specialized GU/GYN procedures
- CNOR certification preferred
- At least 2 years post-licensure clinical experience
- Strong teamwork, accountability, punctuality, and adaptability
- Shifts: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend rotation: approximately 1 out of 4 weekends
- Call requirement: one overnight trauma call from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
