Responsibilities
- Deliver expert perioperative care across a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Urology, Robotic-assisted procedures, Gynecology, and Plastics.
- Circulate during surgeries involving complex cases such as total joint replacements, spinal fusions, minimally invasive procedures, and oncologic resections.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including OR assistants, charge nurses, anesthesia providers, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient OR turnover.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and advanced medical equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensers, and Phillips monitoring systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weeknight and weekend shifts, as well as holiday coverage.
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of Operating Room experience in relevant specialties.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications a plus.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system preferred.
- Ability to handle a call-back schedule averaging 3-4 weeknight calls per 6-week cycle and 1-2 weekend shifts.
- Previous exposure to orthopedic, cardiothoracic, vascular, robotic, and other surgical specialties highly desirable.
- 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, 36 hours per week.
- Call rotation includes weeknight and weekend coverage.
- Orientation provided with 1-2 weeks based on unit assignment.
