Qualifications & Experience

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs within the educational environment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative OT services that foster student participation and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student achievement
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Offer recommendations for classroom modifications, accommodations, and assistive devices as appropriate
