Occupational Therapist School Setting in Tucson, AZ

This part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity supports a K-12 school setting in Tucson, AZ, serving students throughout the academic year on a contract basis. The position begins August 4, 2025, and concludes May 21, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged children.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to support students functional performance in educational environments.
• Implement therapy strategies to enhance students participation in school activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice.
• Familiarity with home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school OT settings is highly valued.
• Ability to work 4.5 days per week, approximately 7.5 hours per day, totaling 31.5 hours weekly.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working exclusively in-person (virtual candidates not accepted).
• Position is specifically for an Occupational Therapist; candidates with COTA credentials will not be considered, as a COTA is already on staff.
