Occupational Therapist School Setting in Los Gatos, CA

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide services within two high schools located in Los Gatos, CA. This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 30 students, delivering around 1500 minutes of direct occupational therapy services and 240 minutes of group services monthly.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to high school students
• Develop and implement therapeutic programs to support students' functional goals in the school environment
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive student support
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
• Serve students across two high school sites, coordinating schedules effectively
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential required; Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) candidates will not be considered
• Experience delivering occupational therapy in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students with varied needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting student success and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
