This position is a leave replacement lasting through March 2026, providing essential OT services across multiple school sites in Eastern Colorado. Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across various schools, including elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as specialized programs.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Manage caseload documentation, paperwork, and planning; flexibility to complete these tasks remotely is offered, although in-person service delivery is preferred.
- Coordinate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote student independence and success.
- Deliver services itinerantly within multiple school districts including Burlington, Flagler, Hugo, Anton, Karval, and others, traveling as needed.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license or certification eligible for practice within Colorado.
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across several geographically dispersed schools.
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and school staff.
- Flexibility to provide services on-site with some remote documentation work.
- This position is based in Limon, CO, with travel required throughout Eastern Colorado school districts listed above.
